Apron for Cookie

I was asked to make an apron for the Cook up at girls camp as a thank you gift for being such an awesome cook. She has been helping out up at girls camp for years, in fact she was my first year cabin mom. I love this women, she is so funny...yet not the girly girl type. So making an apron that was not girly girl was a challenge for me. I was given this fabric to use and I love it because of the mushrooms.
It turned out a little plain jane but the pocket is my favorite part.

reversible headbands

My friend Nicole asked me to make her some headbands but I never found a pattern I quite liked (sorry we never got those made Nicole) so I took pieces of different ones I had seen and then cut my own pattern. These are made to be reversible however I tried to just use my scraps so I only made one that has 2 different fabric's. I like these because they have elastic so you don't get a headache from the hard ones that sit behind your ears.

Bracelet handbag

I have had these little girl handbags on my "to make" list for months. I found the tutorial here at one of my FAVORITE blogs The Object Project. I added buttons on the one, but I'm making a flower for the other. Easy and fast, one bag takes about 10 minutes. They would make great birthday party favors, no?
